In hindsight, I should've left the BG a bit brighter for more separation / tonal range, but too lazy to reprocess :t3

All feedback and reposts welcomed.
Thanks!

I like this very much, Sid. Well exposed, well composed and lovely detail. BG looks good, nice and smooth. Subject stands out beautifully.

Great techs and nice PP work, works for me as presented:S3:

Kind regards,

I like as presented, brightening the background does indeed show the subject to slightly better effect. A slight lowering of the mid tones and a lift of the darkest also renders nicely.

Very appealing image and setting! Good warm colours throughout and nice light as well. I'd be OK with a bit more room above, and I would also remove the one grass touching the bird's wing. BTW, I love the dirt cracking in some spots on the mound - very neat.

Hi Sid,

Excellent PP work on this. I really appreciate how crisp and clear the vulture looks. For me, I don't think the background needs any further work - looks great!

I find the balance of the elements in the composition is different to what I would have done - I would probably go tighter on the Vulture and show less of the mound of earth.

Nevertheless, a very cool image. Thanks for sharing.

Gerald
