Hello Jon,

This thumbnail jumped at me... An attractive image with lovely colours and I particularly like the iridescent green on the damselfly.
Well framed and presented, I might have would have removed the dry stalk as it catches the eye a bit.

Kind regards,
Gabriela

Hey Gabriela thanks for looking in - really glad you dropped in to take a look!
I agree the dried grass stem isn't really adding, I was in two m inds about removing it I must admit. Glad you liked the colours, I had been using a variety of flash settings trying to determine which flash gun and which diffuser was best for that lens combo.

Pleasure is all mine, Jon!

Do not know much about flash photography but whatever you did worked.

Love the dainty damselfly holding onto the flower, those lacy wings and beautiful eye with tiny reflection.

I gather quite a bit of work has gone into creating this image. Wish I had the time to experiment with Macro too...but it'll have to wait till I retire ;)
