Same beaver kit, this time I have added a little tonal depth to the kit. I have modified the surrounding lighting ambience slightly, the image is cropped to 3:2

Hello Jon!

I've just returned from one of your favourite places in SA😊and now busy 'culling' some folders in the evenings...Had some lovely sightings but in extremely hot conditions (close to 40'C sometimes), consequently a bit of a struggle with heat haze which one could see clearly with the naked eye. Also wind, dust, and then a drop to 12'C the day before we left the Park. In some parts of the country it was snowing this past week-end!

I see you've been out and about and managed some more beaver images - seems the subjects are getting more relaxed in your presence?

Nice pose from this little one and I like the environment / green vegetation. Would have tried to place the kit more to the left but I suppose you had your reasons for framing this way. Otherwise he looks good in terms of colour and tonality, but being a little dark those brighter leaves on the LHS of the frame tend to draw my eyes away from him.

Well let us hope you get more opportunities both with kit and mommy Beaver, the more you visit the more relaxed they should be! I certainly enjoyed viewing and look forward to more in the coming months.

Wishing you a great rest of the week,

Kind regards,
Gabriela

Thanks Gabriela glad you like the image. I won’t be going back for some time, they are quite distant from home. I have discovered some about 6K from home but I think highly unlikely I could get presentable images due to trees and vegetation. Never mind maybe some Red deer stags and Mountain hares over next few months.

Thank you so much Jon,

Hope you have a lovely evening.

I am so looking forward to those those stunning Deer Stags and Mountain Hares!

Kind regards,

Gabriela
