Hi Krish very cool to see an image of this species , a bird I would really like to photograph
Crazy how he does look almost the same like the bark of the tree ... what a great camo look .
I am not fan of boxy crops .. but I does work almost well for me , still have a slight reservation .
The stump is quite dominant in the image , due to its size and the somehow crunchy appearance ... I would agrees that by lowering the contrast in the stump to make the subject stand out .
BG is very pleasing

Cool shot

TFS Andreas

BTW .... you seem to have the same issue with the color profile as some others members , when opened in PS I do get a warning that color profile is missing

Super shot Krish, gorgeous colour palette. I would agree either Andreaymake the log a little less impactive - a little less contrast or “detail “.

Thanks, Andreas, I agree, the tree appears a bit dominant.
This a Jpeg image converted to SRGB during export. It does not need an attached colour profile. It does not need PS to be viewed. Any image viewer will do the job.

Ok that is new to me , that no profile is needed .... for consistent presentation on different devices .
You might be right that is not needed to be watched in PS , but i do prefer to watch in PS over any image viewer .

Nice shot. Whenever I have had the rare opportunity to photograph one they never play ball. Apparently it is all or nothing with them and I have to not experience of the latter.

I quite like the branch as it really shows how well there birds can blend in. Maybe it is a tiny bit sharp but I would love a shot like this of that species

Thanks, Phil ! Much appreciated.

Hi Krish, Very nice image of an unusual species - one I have never seen. The light, the pose and the detail of the bird look great against that back ground. I'm not so wild about the branch - maybe a little too dominant, but it does serve to show just how awesome the Wryneck's camouflage is.

Thanks for sharing.

Gerald
