It's cute, Andreas. Love the way he is standing up checking the surroundings. The little paws held together, nice pose. It's a pity about the half closed eye but maybe he has a slight infection... or perhaps he was winking at you?
Nice colours and definition and I like the 3D feel to the frame. Like the space too. Not sure whether I want to open up the blacks a bit on the 'apron' or leave it as is, up to you.
Hope it wasn't too freaky, don't think I'd mind being there one bit if I had the chance to capture the species. Always nice to see something different, thank you so much for sharing.

Kind regards,

Thanks Gabriela ... I did not recognize the half closed eye while shooting , thought post it or not , but said to myself .... it is what it is .
Regarding the blacks , well I am ok with it as in real life the black belly appeared black with no visible detail .... and here on my screen I can see some definition , at least .

Very nice pose and a clean image (not high ISO for you!) composition looks good too. I think I see something on his right lower eye lid and his third eye lid is moving across his eye. I am enjoying these hamster and ground squirrel shots.

Hi Andreas -- A very cute subject and as per your usual standards the IQ is up to the mark. The eye is unfortunate but it is what it is. I liked the details and overall colours as well.

A very nice image.

TFS !

thx Arthur ,do not understand your question about the wild creature ????
if it would be not wild , I would have declared it ......
as this image is not as special , for me , as the jumping squirrel , I should have posted a different image where both eyes do look good .
