I went out on a scouting mission this morning just to see where the light and the rabbits were. I will return with my portable bag hide and stool and hopefully get some images of them out in the open (along with a few kits maybe) over the next few weeks.

Ooh missed this Jon, so used to seeing your posts in Avian.

OK a sleepy bunny... personally I would have liked the eye fully open and looking a bit more alert rather than dozing in the sunlight... The habit is natural, albeit busy, however, I quite like the arching bramble, but would loose the two on the RHS and the white blob in front of the whiskers. I think you could bring a bit more 'life' to the scene and tonal range to create the depth needed.

Super cute and half asleep, how sweet...would love to see some kits too if you can find them!
I like the way he/she is 'nested' and hidden among vegetation, those flat ears and half closed eyes show a degree of content 😊
Nicely framed, I would perhaps 'clean up' the scene here and there, colours look good... I tend to agree with Steve, a bit more tonal range would be great.
Hope weather holds and you manage to get out and about over the next few weeks, portable hide and small stool...and a flask of hot tea or coffee. Wish I could do the same but I would have to watch my back, LOL. Have fun and share some more☺️

Kind regards,
Gabriela

Hey Jon ... the little bugger does look relaxed , which is cool !!
I do like the sweet light and the sleepy pose .
Color , tone , details and comp work very well .
Personally I would darken the surroundings to a good degree , to lead the viewers eye more to the subject . But this is just my taste

Good luck for the next time .... Roger in action , maybe :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Thanks Andreas, I have darkened the surrounding areas in variation, I am not a fan of the subject standing out from the background in such a way it makes me think someone has shone a torch on it. I take your point, it’s just a question of how much differential illumination.
