All Raw captures perfectly exposed, confirmed by Raw Digger

Well exposed but I have to confess I am not sure about the reference to "perfectly exposed" - are you saying technically you fully exploited the dynamic range of the image and having done that do you then make it optimal for visual perception? I recall using a viewer that offered similar but when the image was just about perfect from looking at highs and lows- well it looked so! Hey no surprise!

Details look outsanding but as an image I have come to expect rather more from you - this looks like something I would be pleased to get whereas with you I come to expect action/behavioural aspects or super lighting. Don't misunderstand I think it is a good image, but not one of your best.

Thanks for commenting Jon.

What I mean is that when viewing in Raw Digger I have a full set of zeros in all four channels, in both under & over exposure, therefore I have the perfect exposure IMHO.

As presented its too tight, I needed to remove the TC and crop, but time was against me sadly, this is why a zoom is often far better and outstrips a fixed in certain instances.

Don't misunderstand I think it is a good image, but not one of your best.

I agree, just throwing things into the mix of posts.

Not easy to focus on a subject among tall grass so I am happy to see you managed to capture this cheetah ;)
I like the colours here and detail is very nice. IQ is great.
Yes, framing maybe a bit tight... but just curious, were there any elements in the landscape that would have enhanced this image?
For me it works as is, Steve. I like the POV and the framing isn't much of an issue to me.
Just a simple and very effective close up of a cheetah walking, thank you so much for sharing☺️

Warmest regards,
Gabriela

Steve, thank you so much, hope to see the boys sometime soon, they moved further north as we have quite a few lion in this section of the reserve at the moment. They are very clever, my boys, staying away from trouble.
Saw a lioness in the distance yesterday, sadly by the time we got there she had moved into a drainage line (this is the one girl with big cubs).
Now pouring with rain, we so needed this 😊
