Beautiful lighting shows wonderful plumage detail, the pose is very illustrative, processing clen and clear, colours look great. Maybe just maybe a tad large in the frame - super image!

I like it Sid, very much.
Well captured, processed, and presented. Perfect HA from the bird and such lovely pose.
I also like the perch and BG colours, just awesome. For me framing is spot on.
Hope you come back with more 😊

Kind regards,
Gabriela

Thank you all! Much appreciated. Of the 9 or so hornbill species in India, this is the only species I have photographed so far.
Artie, this was photographed in the southern part of India in a beautiful, idyllic place called Kodagu that's framed by the western ghats.

Thanks, Jon. I agree on this being a tad tight in the frame, but didn't have any additional space. I had too much lens for this large bird.
