Beautiful little Goldfinch! Nice pose. Clean and crisp as usual.

I am particularly enjoying the way the shape made by the wings is echoed in the shape of the branch.

Jan, I used a feature of Olympus cameras it is called Procapture . I used Procapture with autofocus that’s 50 fps or thereabouts. There is also Procapture at 120fps but that is manual focus, I do not use this one.

Hey Jon ... I think one of your best shots ever taken with the recapture mode , at least for me !
Pose is awesome , GF does look almost ballerina like ...dancing in the air !!!!
Processed kinda too conservative for my taste .
I would go more punchy with brightness , color and tone in the subject and the lovely perch . But this is just me .

Thanks Andreas, I am inclined to agree a little more depth/tone would have been good. I seem to vary a little sometimes I make them a little more colourful than others.
