Great Gray Landing

Was photographing this great gray, and not sure what to think of this shot - ideally I'm thinking I'd have been further to the left, getting him directly landing, but I did get some nice shots of him taking off I liked. Too far to the right? End of day, tough light.

Z9, 600 TC VR S, 600mm, 1/640, f/4, ISO 12800

Man, I miss photographing these guys! The main issue is the tight framing, the wing to our left is almost clipped in the corner. Unless the owl's movements are controlled it is tough to predict where it will go, so it can be difficult to say yes or no for moving more to the left. I like the spotlight effect - did you add vignetting in post?

Thanks, I did add a little vignetting. It is indeed so hard to know where they go, but did get him taking off in a couple of others which was nice.
 
Thanks Paul. We've got some GGO's this winter up here, but it's a major circus of people there though. If it dies down I may surely go photograph them :)
