Great Gray Taking Off

Going through some images and did get a few taking off and landing, though was a little slow on shutter speed due to light.

Here's another of the great gray about to take off. Thanks for any thoughts/comments.

Wow, bags of impact, details and exposure good. I suspect the tight crop because of surrounding branches/twigs and trees??, if not I would be inclined to loosen the crop a little.

Hi Paul,
Lots of drama in the pose of the Owl. I think the blur on the wings accentuates its face and those bright eyes.

However, I'm not a fan of the 'letterbox' crop. Maybe there is more on the original and you can work with light and shade to hide it rather than the crop.
