I am a new member here, but already in a short time I have learned that BIF photos have different characteristics in terms of the pose of the bird. Here's a photo I managed to take of a really fast flier, a great spotted woodpecker (Dendrocopos major). BTW is there a way to add photo attributes so that they are visible?

welcome to BPN!
you can just type the exif when positing for better critique.
this image is quite dynamic and engaging! love the full downstroke position. I wish it was larger to show a bit more details. I can see a bit blue cast on my screen. in a perfect world the perch would have been a bit smaller...

Thanks for the valuable comments. I just realised that I do ”blue overcasting” sytematicly to my photos. I need to do some monitor color adjustments. The photo was cropped already because my setup was not favorable, the tree and bird were quite far away. Visible tree trunk was one of the woodpeckers food cabinet.

Juha, in addition to the suggestions offered I would say making the imagemax dimensions 1920px length or 1600px tall would help.
The EXIF data can also be very easily made available when you Save for WEB in PS, there is an option for Metadata, I simply go to the dropdown list and Save All, this way you don't need to copy and paste the data it appears automatically inder your image.
