Hi folks ... a simple WP image from the beginning of the year 2024
Nothing fancy ... to be honest
But I do like the pose , image captured close to a feeder

Canon EOS R6 II
RF 400 2,8 IS L + 2x TC
HH

F 6,3 ; Iso 20.000 ; 1/3200 sec .... was ready for flight shots , but it did not work out very well .

Processed with PR 4 ; DT 4.8.1 and PSCC 2025

Hi Andreas,

Yes, a simple image but very well done. Agreed that the pose is very nice - I always like the way they stabilise with the tail!

Colours and details look spot-on! Nice detail in the blacks and the whites.

Beautifully processed, the details are excellent, perch and backgroiund look fine, I agree not much by way of action but more than compensates with beautiful detail.
Just taking a second look at those reds (??? maybe a little too vibrant)

@ Jon ... matter of taste with the reds , not too vibrant for my personal taste . But you see it differently ... fully ok .
