I captured this image recently at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2022 and Neat Image for noise reduction
Cropped for composition and presentation

Hi Joe, a nice specimen and I like the detail in the plumage. If you have it, then a sliver more on the LHS and again, watch that sharpening halo, it's all around the contour of the subject.

Nice shot pleasing colours, I agree if it were possible a tad more on the left would be good. Not sure if the perch was sharpened in any way but it looks a little crisp, a brush of negative clarity and a little burning stops it competing for attention.

Hi Steve, thank you for viewing the image and offering suggestions to improve it. I edited the image with a tad more room on the left and backed off the sharpening. I think I am biased to sharpen too much, it is not the size of the radius because I am using the lowest setting in Lightroom 0.50 pixel. Let me know what you think of this repost.

Hi John, thank you for viewing and commenting. I just posted a edit with a little more room on the left side. I did sharpen the perch and bird and I reduced highlights on the perch. I guess I think of the perch and bird as a unit having equal sharpness and exposure.

Beautiful perch, pose, and bird, along with a nice background. If you had been able to get even 2-3 inches taller you could have moved the horizon line down to a more pleasing thirds position.
