Hi folks ... a different approach this time , was kinda difficult to get this done without too much distractions in the BG . As the location is quite close to human settlement ...
I tried all sorts of angles and views , thanks to the Squirrels, patience I got some funny stuff .... but lots of rubbish as well :bg3:. Me and my kit got badly thrown dirt onto ... with the 16 - 35 mm being half filled with it on the front :bg3:. But I got everything cleaned up afterwards ....

Hope you like it somehow , really pushed the sky as the sky was so boring in terms of color and tone .

Canon EOS 1Dx III
EF 16 - 35 IS L at 16 mm

F 10 ; Iso 2500 ; 1/2500

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2023 ; recropped and canvas added with the latest fancy Adobe tools ....

Thanks for watching and commenting

Cheers Andreas

This works for me Andreas,

Great perspective and it was worth getting some dirt on your gear, nice DoF too, techs 100%.

Sharp with good detail and nice colours and tones. Did you add canvas at the bottom, looks good.

I might have cropped a tad more from the left but not a big issue, just my thoughts as I am viewing your frame.

Overall this looks great, I like the image design and it's just something different than what we see every day - nice work!

Kind regards,

When you get subjects habituated to humans, it really does help and allows you to get super close and getting the lens to do a good job. A circular polariser would have worked wonders here, blue a little pushed. Might remove the blade of grass just clipping the nose.

Yup this works for me too, I like the presentation, the sky maybe a little too blue but otherwise tickety boo.

A nice change for you here Andreas, like the low profile wide angle and he's got you in that eyeball I'm sure, agree on the sky saturation & grass across the nose, both an easy fix of course.

Thanks so much folks for your various comments , much appreciated .

The grass blade over the nose does not bother me that much as does it for you ....

But I do agree that the blue sky is a but overcooked .... just wanted to go picture postcard :bg3:

Heeres Andreas
