Hello from Dallas, Texas!

I'm Charlie, an amateur photographer. I enjoy being outdoors with our feathered friends. The image below was captured on the Mississippi River near Davenport, Iowa. This area enjoys an annual migration of eagles from the northern reaches of the the mid-west when the lakes & rivers freeze-over beginning in November. The river below the locks & dams further south stay ice free allowing the birds to feed from November through March. By mid-March the eagles migrate back north. We spent 10 years here before moving to Texas. The eagle migration kept us smiling and motivated through the harsh winters.
