Hi,
I have “lurked” on this site for a while and have now plucked up the courage to post.
Due to mobility issues, my bird photography is now restricted to attempting to capture images of the birds in my small garden.
I am even unable to sit in a hide, hunched over a camera, so I have set it up on a tripod, aimed at a suitable and changeable perch. I operate the camera from the comfort of the conservatory by either a remote shutter release or a Sabre LiDAR detector.
The other, perhaps unusual addition is the use of HSS flash so that I can operate at high shutter speeds and low ISO.
I am not an expert in image editing, not even possessing a computer! All editing is done on my iPad, using Lightroom mobile. I therefore appreciate that my finished images may well be open to criticism and lack the more professional look of many on this site.
I have, however, had some success just lately, with Amateur Photographer Magazine publishing two of my photos, including this one:-
