This is more like it! Well from my POV anyway! The image is more intimate I am drawn in to the hyena I can appreciate hime chilling out yet something half catches his interest. As ususal details and tones/colours look very good indeed.

Cheers Jon, again it just comes back to the original capture and this had more space for crop options.

I must admit, with the new upgrades in both Lr, but especially Ps which has just just had an injection of Usain Bolt, its changed again WF and cut down in file size, win win.

I trust you have managed to get some work done to progress your project in the lower field? :)

Sweet, love this little one, thank you for sharing, Steve 😊

Nice POV and pose is super cute, image well composed and well processed with natural colours and tones.
IQ looks great and subject sharp where it needs to be. Lovely detail as always!
My apologies for viewing so late...when I saw this I immediately thought of the naughty little scoundrels that chewed my vehicle's tow hook cover last year. One was lying on the side of the road, just like this, sweet and pensive and adorable. While we were taking photos of him (or her) another two cubs were sniffling around, when we could not see them we assumed they were back in the den. Then a vehicle came past, the driver stopped next to my window and asked for my phone number, smiling. He then said 'I just want to send you a video'. At first I was hesitant but when I saw the honorary ranger sign on the vehicle I kind of put two and two together...the man had been watching those two for some time and captured the entire episode on his cellphone 😁

Thanks Gabriela, they are very naughty and the pups engaging when they come up to the vehicle. Will take some time out next year and see if we can get some images if the den is still there. Don't you just love that call at night? :)

Of course I do! For some reason we hardly ever hear hyena calling here at home but on Saturday night the jackals were very vocal.
We have both side-striped and black-backed. The side-striped must have a den not far from the camp, saw pups on the road a couple of months ago 😊
