Iberian Chiffchaff on a stick

An image from earlier this year, an afternoon spent in a hide dedicated to small birds in central Spain. This Iberian Chiffchaff was a frequent visitor and as the afternoon went by the light got better and better, and shadows were falling on the background.

I'm not a big fan of the classic 'bird on a stick', but I like this one enough to post it. I like the Chiffchaff and the free space around it. The background is plain but not without some texture.

Image made with the Sony A9II, FE200-600 at 600mm. Shutter speed 1/3200 at f/6.3, ISO 3200. Post production in LrC, including light NR with Enhance.

Nicely processed image Gerald, composition looks good. My only slight reservation is the almost complete absence of legs - I wonder if you have more similar images?

Hi Gerald ... lovely looking BOAS
I do like the diagonal perch and the clean , but not too clean BG . Lovely composition .
Lovely details in the little critter ... I do not mind the legs .
Personally I would burn the brighter parts of the perch and might try to give the BG another hue ... to make the critter more attention .

Second image much preferred. Light on the face adds much. Great detail and color. would prefer a little crop from right side and bottom and little more room on top so bird not centered

Second image Gerald - a gem! My small criticism would be to blend the broad lighter toned stripe on RHS.
