This is another image from the woodland birds I was photographing at the set up.....I would have liked a wee bit better HA on the bird behind, but thought this was worth keeping as rarely I get two in the same frame....I will be returning to the hide for all day on Sunday, and your comments on my last posts have been noted regarding exposure, perches, etc.......Gimbal Head....ACR Topaz DN and PS. The forecast is brighter for Sunday, so will get a faster SS and hopefully get some more flight shots.

Despite the minor head angle caveat you mention, this is really nice, Will. It's like the right bird is checking out the left bird! Both subjects are very sharp, so well done on controlling what you could. Getting perfect head angle on two birds
is so, so rare. Processing looks great.

Hi Will. Ditto the positives here. What cute colourful birds! Love the overall composition and serene atmosphere generated by this image. I originally thought that maybe there was too much pink/magenta colouring on the birds and perch, but after searching for images of this species I was wrong. Is the magenta on the perch natural?

This is so soft and pretty...I love the mood here. Yes to the head angle, but I also agree with Dorian's take on it. The white throat feathers on that bird is are a bit hot as well - toning them down a bit would be good IMO. I love the perch and BG.
