Middle Creek Snow Geese Soar

The population of Snow Geese at the Middle Creek Wildlife Refuge in eastern Pennsylvania has increased dramatically in the last few days.

Officials estimate the Snow Goose population now at 35,000, with about 2,500 Tundra Swans.

If you haven't seen the spectacle, now's the time to consider visiting. They should be around for a couple of weeks.

As of Monday, the estimated Snow Goose population was up to 40,000, with 800 Tundra Swans.

There's always a good-sized dollop of ducks -- of all varieties.

Not to mention assorted raptors.
