When composing a post, to insert a video directly from youtube, or your favorite video sharing website, you only need to click the
button and paste the URL to the video page as you see it in your browser address bar.
The easiest way to upload an image from your hard disk is to use the
button, then click Select Files and and browse your computer for the image you wish to upload.
If you want to convert a piece of text into a link, select it with your mouse, click the
button, and paste the address you want to link in the pop-up window that appears.
To start a new thread, first of all go to the most appropriate subforum for the topic you want to discuss. Then, click the Post New Thread button.
Before creating a new thread, use the search feature to see if someone already posted about the topic you want to discuss.
To clear any formatting (except links) from your text, select it with the mouse and click the
button.
If you want to post a reply to a specific post, click the Reply With Quote and the text of the previous message will automatically appear in the editor for reference.
The multi-quote feature allows you to quote more than one post in the same reply. Click the
button in all the posts you wish to quote. When you click the Reply To Thread button, the text of all those posts will automatically appear in the editor.
Tags are a words or short sentences that can be used to describe the topic of a thread, making it easier for the rest of users to find them. You can tag any thread using the Add / Edit Tags at the bottom right of the post listing.
You can quickly find any post you haven't yet read clicking the What's New? button.
The Quick Navigation menu that you can find in the bottom all the pages of the site, allows you to quickly go to any part of the site.
Make your post easily readable. If the rest of users can't understand it, you won't get good replies. Most modern browsers have a spell checking utility.
When starting a new thread, use a descriptive title. That will help the rest of users to know what you're willing to discuss, increasing your chances to get good answers.
You can find all the posts created by an user by clicking his or her username, and selecting the View Forum Posts option in the pop-up that appears.
Can't remember which images you have uploaded for critique?
To see which images you have uploaded as attachments, click My Profile in the top right and select the Attachments tab.
To remove or review attachments, click Settings in the top right and select Attachments under the Miscellaneous section. If you don't see the thumbnails, there is a Show Thumbnails button at the bottom.
