Most likely I'll be heading into Yellowstone tommorow to look for wolves for the first time since this image was captured on the last day the interior of the park was open for cars on Nov 5th 07. This image was taken right after the sun cleared the trees. It can be really tough to get all the wolves in the right positions.. There was 8 wolves total in view. The pack had recently taken over the territory of the Hayden Pack killing the alpa male and female in the process.

I've looked at this image several times, what wonderful animals! I think the pose it great and love the light. The only thing that sort of bothers me is the upper BG,seems to draw my eye a bit more than I like. I wonder what cropping the to 1-2" would do so that just some of the dead fall shows???

I love the light and the intense stare of the wolves. The eyes are beautiful. I agree about taking a little off the top.
