A little busy with the leaves over the body but you can see the eye, and brightly coloured bill. Goes to show they will build their nests wherever, so long and it's a safe haven. Guess the nest won't be bothered by flooding or foxes?

Both Colour & sharpening appear OK, you could add a bit more saturation on the foliage and the rock could Goa little lighter and there is more detail to extract. I think you have added to the backdrop as there is some artefacts.

Something different Jon and nice to see a better SS too.

Hi Jon .. the subject , setting and the captured behavior is looking good to me .
Color , tone and details ... are spot on for me in the main areas .
I might run some more NR to some parts in the FG and BG
The BG does look a bit undecided .... IMHO ... left side too dark or right side too light , if you know what I mean by this ??!!
Personally I would darken the FG more

Hello Jon,

An interesting behavioural frame with lots to look at, subject nice and sharp and good detail in those feathers. Nice vibrant colours too.

For me it works as presented, save for some bits in the BG that need some attention. I would also darken the FG a little in order to draw attention to the subject.

Nice techs and overall well processed, thank you for sharing, I enjoyed viewing :w3

Warmest regards,
