This is another from my trip to visit the snow monkeys in Japan. This one was snoozing in the warm water of the natural hot spring. Outside temperature, 30 degrees F. I had to deal with the steam rising off the water. I wanted to get in there but it is, in fact, a big monkey toilet bowl so I passed on the opportunity.

I did not shoot with enough DOF here otherwise it is a really great image.

Maybe if you bring the steam up a little more.........DOF is not such a big issue as it is pretty good already on my monitor. We don't normally want the eyes closed....but in this one it works very well,

Fantastic image, DOF is fine IMO, inclusion of the reflection makes this a very strong image, and therefore I do not mind the eyes being closed. The facial expressions of these monleys are so cool. As for the steam, I think that is what adds the atmosphere and it could actually usesome more.
