Very nice Joe, good detail and clarity, personally I might suggest a bit more below so the subject isn't falling out of frame.

Depending on your 'ethics' perhaps as an option more of a cleaner surrounding, as per attached.

Hi Steve, thank you for viewing and suggestions to improve the image. I can do what you suggested, I will work on it and then repost the image.

Hi Steve, I have PS24 with my Adobe subscription but wondering why you say it can only be done in PS24.

Hi Joe, because of the new additional tools, it can’t be done in Lr, or previous editions of PS ie Beta, PS’23, as ‘24 has all the updates ironed out. If you have updated, make sure ALL of your settings within PS haven't defaulted and can run any Third Party software.

Hi Steve, here is the edit and repost using the new tools in PS24. WDYT?

Hi Joe, yes it does look better, but would have kept the RH branch and lost the LHC ones, just depends on how you view it, plus do you feel comfortable in ethics of the removal? Providing it's acknowledged in the text fine, but as I said to Artie, with the updates it is going to open the floodgates to abuse at times, but the genie is out of the bottle. :S3:

Hi Steve, thanks for coming back. Ethically removing objects from a photograph doesn't bother me, especially it the image is to be used for artistic purposes. Most times in the field I try to find a viewpoint where removing an object would be minimal on not needed, but sometimes impossible. Most contests do not allow removing anything from the background so I try to keep that in mind. This cardinal landed about ten feet away from me, it was pretty much focus and shoot because I knew the bird would soon take flight. Thanks again...

A few too many oof branches for me, but the good news is that if they are anything like ours up here they do love bird feeders and can be easy(ish) to setup. Sharpness looks good, and I love the BG (minus those branches). A head turn a couple more degrees towards us would have been good too.
