One from the Isle of Mull last week. HH. ACR and PS. Hope the greens look better on this one, I left them as is.

Fantastic flight pose you got on this oystercatcher! Super details on the feathers. Some of the whites are just at the limit of being greyed out, but still looking OK. IMO the flowers do not add much here as they are not numerous enough - I'd remove them if mine as they tend to pull the eye (at least mine). I'd be super happy with this!

Super shot Will, I am a little reserved over the whites on the bird but everything else looks good to me though I still think the greens are a little muted.

Hi Will a killer flight shot !!! Love the banking , the HA and even the calling ... very cool .
Would agree with Dan and Jon about the whites , sometimes a difficult task . I do not mind the flowers .... I actually like them to break the monotony of the BG , specially with your choice of color/tone in the BG .
by knowing that we all have different expectations about the color etc .... I would still expect more life in the BG on the color front as the scene looks sun lit .

Will, my wife and I were in Scotland one day last week on a cruise. I really wanted to try to connect with you but there was too much to do during the few hours we had on land. Such a great visit though, we loved it there!

You have a dandy of a shot here. That dorsal view with spread wings and even open beak man, all so good. You processed the plumage beautifully and I even love the blossoms at the bottom of the canvas.

Excellent work my friend!

Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated.

Hi Brian. Glad you liked your visit to Scotland. Was you up North. The time you were there, I was on the Isle of Mull photographing the Puffins etc. :S3:
