Having got rid of their young this pair of Black Shouldered Kites seem to be having fun.The background is Australia's longest river [Murray] after a major flood and therefore grey and still dirty and lightly rippled in low light. I was trying out the Nikon 800 PF lens .This is a big crop but in the clear early morning air the lens seems to stand up quite well. Left hand bird not perfect and its a grey frame but still pretty sharp a long way out.
