I managed to sneak up on this female, on the moors near Wrexham, they were very skittish. One day I will get the feet in the image!

Hi Jon,

I'm enjoying the wonderful colours on this little lady - quite beautiful. The pose is a classic and against the soft background looks great. I'm not really missing the feet, I know where they are!

I would probably go for a slightly tighter crop - my general preference - and remove that bright grass stalk on the left side.

Lovely light. Beautiful bird. I like the IQ.
Center placement doesn't quite work for me here. I'd move the bird to the left in the frame as Steve suggests, and maybe some more to the bottom.
