I spotted this Red Grouse on the moors near to Wrexham, image captured early morning.

Hi Jon, I like the environment, it has that layering adding depth to the image. The POV is not ideal, rear first, but a typical stance of this subject, however you do have the head clearly visible, ditto the eye, does it need a bit more head turn? I like the angle, going lower I feel would loose certain aspects, assume this is from your car as they would have flown at this distance.

I'd loose the blue cast, but I think you could do more and bring a bit more 'life/oomph' into the capture. Personal tastes about a bit of gardening...

Just a quick take based on the OP and my thoughts.

Thanks Steve, I like what you did in fact I originally made a more colourful version, then I did a few others. As I recall it was cold and slightly misty but the sun did begin to shine here and there.
