Red-necked Falcon
This is a bird-eating species. They hunt in pairs, at dawn and dusk, one flushing and the other grabbing the bird at speed. There are two unconnected populations of the bird in Southern Africa & the Indian Subcontinent.

Very nice Krish, I like the fact it's small in frame and lots of negative space to look into. The slight head turn works! Overall for me, a nicely balance frame. Personally I think it looks a bit flat, but as I said personal taste. It does have a red tinge, but that could well be from the profile.

Hi Krish, I am enjoying this image very much. I like the use of space and suggestion of dusk with the subdued, warm light. The bird and perch are delightful and I like the way you have placed them well to the left, the bird looking out over its hunting area.

I have really enjoyed this frame .Only seen the African versionbut at great speed beating up the flocks of Quelia.
