Hi Andreas, these squirrel shots are very entertaining. I'll have to give this a try, as long as I can keep my dog from chasing them away from his backyard. Our squirrels don't have the distinctive red coat, but it seems that these shots have a bit of a green color cast. Perhaps that was an intentional part of your color grading...

THX Dave ... yeah great fun with the Squirrels !!!
Would agree with your thoughts about the " green cast " , will take another look ... but it was my intention to go greener as the scene was that way . But will check it again.
The Squirrels do vary a lot with coloration ... some are brownish / grayish , some brown /red .... some pure red . And they do vary in tone as well .... brighter or darker .

Cheers Andreas

Andreas, don't get me wrong... I sort of like the green cast because it seems to help unify the colors of the scene, although I would pare it back a bit particularly its forearms where its strongest. I know of some people who use color casting very effectively and I was just curious if that was part of your approach here.

Cheers.
