Hi folks ... a Red Squirrel without being attracted by any food , just hopping around the local park

HH

F 7,1 ; Iso 10.000 ; 1/ 2000 sec

Processed with PL 8 for NR ; Darktable 4.8.1 and PSCC 2024 ; cropped from horizontal and added a sliver of canvas to the top

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

I like the composition, just having slight reservations over the colours though I suspect the ambient light through the foliage may be responsible.
The shallow DOF really makes is little face pop against his tail, as usual the image is clean as a whistle and very well detailed.

THX Jon for your comment , much appreciated .
Let me know what kind of reservation you have over the color .... please be more specific

Cheers Andreas
I am left wondering if the image is a little too green, the bark for example and the grasses in the background maybe a tad vibrant.

LOL Jon ... the old story with the greens between me and you ;) :ROFLMAO:
Fully ok that you see the greens different ... in the BG
The bark is actually quite greenish due to cover of lichen or moss or whatever that is .... the area is quite humid , so you will find naturally a greenish cover on all trees .
Hope you understand my thought .

The greens look fine to me, very much used to that kind of hue on trees around here. Being really picky, and I mean really, that little dark patch in the background near the tail draws my eye a little.

THX Phill ... i do appreciate your comment , glad you like the greens and the tree hues .
No problem if you are picky and something isn´t quite right for you personally .
I am fully ok with the " darker " patch ... not an issue at all for me .

Cheers Andreas
