Never been out much recently so decided to process a few of my older files. I was sitting in amongst the rocks on the shore of my hometown photographing other birds when this Ruddy Turnstone turned up and landed on the shore close by. They are very aware of human presence here, so I was surprised, as he obviously never spotted me. The bird walked out into the sea, had a bath, then returned to the shore to dry off. I managed a few shots .....This is a first for me, as they are usually running about the rocks, seaweed and the shore looking for food, where I have photographed them many times. This is a male in breeding plumage. HH. ACR and PS.

Hi Will ... glad you managed him when coming back to shore and with the head up :w3:S3:
Nice and clean image with loads of details , good rich colors in the subject . Whites and blacks are well controlled ... well done .
I do like the ripples colored in a blueish tone , as the do break the uniformity

Well done all around

Looks good Will, nice to see the breeding plumage. Details and colours good, - maybe consider a little Clarity in the water?
