nothing fancy just a Silver Gull calling pose .

I haven't seen a silver gull as far as I know there aren't any alternative English names so this is a bit special for me because I haven't seen one before. I would have probably dismssed it as a Herring Gull.
Colours and details very good, I like the pose on the single rock too, DOF looks good.

Hey Andreas,
Nice calling pose. Bird is nicely isolated from the distant background. Well processed with nice clean detail as usual.
In Dutch this is a "Zilvermeeuw" so I'm assuming something similar in German. But in English it is as Jon mentioned, a European Herring Gull.
We live and learn!
