My current plan is Canon 1dx 1dx2 and 5 dmk3 600mm F4 II 200-400mm F4 100-400mmII, 24-105mm, also i own the 24-70II f 2.8
Curious what you would do, as in the nat parks, it's not possible to off road, where in northern tanzania along the river i can..

Hi, If your going in the summer there is no perfect place for the river crossing due to the HUGE crowds. Ive stopped doing migration crossing tours as everyone gets the same shots (if you even get a clear shot) Ive had more success getting a late river crossing in Kenya with only one other vehicle around, these conditions make for a much better unique photography experience.
Serengeti is very tight on off-road driving so you 600mm will be useful. In south serengeti you will get a better opportunity for closer images
