Same bird and circumstances as my previous post.

Canon 600mm f/4 IS II + 1.4x III on EOS R5
Manual mode, 1/1250 at f/5.6, ISO 3200
Processed in LR and Topaz

Looks great here. Lovely light you got. Nice pose on the bird and the raised foot adds, especially with the other one hidden. Perfect HA. Well captured and processed.

Hi Dorian does look overall , just wish the front foot was lifted and not the back one .
Might play a bit with the BG ... make it darker or lighter than the subject , as posted it is all tone in tone .

Haha! I thought I was the only one who thought about that subtle stuff. Yes, I would have preferred it the other way, but the bird didn't give me a good head angle on that frame!

Re: the background - the bird is so well camouflaged in the golden grass. I already dropped exposure on surroundings 0.3 to make bird stand out more. Not sure I want to push it
any farther.
