I captured this image from a boat on a sea loch, Isle of Mull, a while ago. The bird was baited by the fish, in the image. The BG is the misty loch. HH. ACR and PS.

Terrific shot Will, love the detail, wingspread and droplets falling from the fish. The textured BG is just right. Nice that you got both eyes but the purist would have liked the head turned and looking at you!

Nice shot, the contrast in the darker feathers is a tricky one to deal with, so much depends on the ambient light and direction. It may well be spot on but it makes me wish for a tad more tonal contrast.

I'm rather liking the painterly feel here. The water drops around the fish tell the story of a catch done seconds ago.

Love the pose and action, even if a bit more eye contact would strengthen the image. I really like the flat light and wmisty/steely surrounds. I agree the image could use a bit of contrast.

Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated. Your right Steve, it was under exposed. Regarding the sharpness, the underside of the Eagle was totally wet, as Dan said, it had just left the water seconds earlier. I probably pushed the sharpness too much because of this.
