A young family of Wild Turkeys were such fun to photograph this past summer. On this particular morning, they were cruising along a quiet street, so I lay flat on the shoulder and waited for them to come towards me. They walked along the perfect spot in a grassy area, in perfect formation! There were 18 babies altogether (two families having combined as one larger group).

Oooooh, this is such a fun, super cool image, Dan!

I recently tried to grab a similar shot of Francolins running but could not quite get the low perspective. This is awesome! If I lie flat near the road around here the lion will bite me 😅 And the ticks, too.

Great framing and super colours, nice DoF, love the rain droplets.
Agree with Arash, the separation between the subjects is great - well seen, captured and processed, thank you so much for sharing!

Warmest regards,
Gabriela

Nice to see you pushing the ISO here Dan, the rain streaks are a nice touch, but it's the DC POV (trademark) that makes it for me. Like the slightly raised foot.
