Nothing too glorious just simple boring willet but the first image made with the 500PF and the TC outside of my house !

D850 Nikon 500 f/5.6 PF + TCE-14III ISO ISO 800 f.8 at 1/3200sec hand held processed with C1P

hope you like it

Willets are exquisite when in flight, and this proves it. In your hands, at least, the 500PF + TC gets the job done nicely.

This rocks Arash, guess you're not returning the 500PF!!! Clean, crisp, details, and toenails included. congrats on your new lens and a killer frame all from the comfort of home!

Cracking shot here. Great detail all over the bird and a nice background for it to fly against. I'm not familiar with this bird so don't know it's size, but I would guess it is quite small.

I like the seaweed cover on the base of the bill. I finally did get my 500 P early on Monday morning. See the Last Minute Miracle blog post here to learn of my Catch-22/Murphy's Law UPS nightmare :)

Oh, and did I mention that the wing position and underwing detail are mega???

with love, artie

Pretty sweet. Love the trailing feet and wing position. The seaweed is a nice touch.Great catchlight. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts about the 500 PF especially with the 1.4 TC. I've been really happy with my 300 PF so I'm thrilled to see Nikon expanding the tech into longer focal lengths. TFS
