Oooh that gorgeous and plentiful California light!
Lovely pose and sharp as can be. Details galore throughout.
Very nice image, Arash.

I almost feel like there should be a touch more saturation, or maybe warmer WB, but other than that this looks super good. Good view of the underwing feather patterns. It's been years since I photographed this ultra skittish species over here. Way overdue!

Lovely sharp frame. Ditto all the positive comments above. The birds head, however, it turned 1/2 of one degree away from the line of its body (and the direction of flight0.

with love, artie

pS: Learn a ton about flight photography in the guide we did together http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/157613-The-Flight-Photography-Guide

thanks Artie, I think his had is parallel or even 1/2 degree turned inward when I zoom in, but the eye socket is quite deep and tilted sharply towards to the beak and hence the impression.... flying at about 5-10 degrees relative to the sensor would have been ideal, incidentally I have a frame like that but the issue is the shadow on the far wing so my pick was this frame with almost 0 shadow. pointing my shadow perfectly at the subject paid dividends
