What?? Is this an Ontario bird?? I've never been able to get closer than 200 yards of one up here. Super nice image, I love the composition and the perfect head angle to go with the view of the rusty plumage on the back. Well done.

Thanks Daniel. I guess we are lucky in a way that there is a place very close to where I live, (Cambridge) and they have been nesting there since 2002.
Odd times they are very tame, other times they will walk away, like two days ago.

Recon you have caught this one beautifully Karl, that rusty colour is certainly different, sharp from beak to toe which looks a long way.
