Hi John.. I think this is quite wonderful..! For me, a beautiful balanced composition with good leads, lots of detail and nicely processed. Your shutter speed is about perfect for me also.. I took the liberty of putting it into PS (just to have a play, hope you don't mind..) and it looks even better with a black border... My suggestion is to have a look at pushing the sharpness a little more, I tried USM at 168%, 1.2PX and thres 7 on a separate layer at 30% opacity and thought it looked a little better. I also added an exposure layer masked just to brighten the trees above the falls slightly.. But your image and your interpretation so these are only thoughts for you to explore if you wish.. Well done.
