White Throated Dipper II

Hi folks ,
it is Dipper time , been to another location for the KF and found Dippers as well .... almost downtown :bg3:
The shortest river of Germany is running there and it does surface in town centre , via several small springs .... the water is quite warm so it is ice free the whole winter , reason for the rare birds to come and stay here .
This individual was staying at the end of a small channel of that river .... just behind a small rapid .
Light was kind of interesting in combo with the " steamy " water , made it difficult to focus and get decent shots . Most of the images are carrying a natural softness due to the steam , I tried to get rid if it ..... as I really like the light and color contrast .

Super shot Andreas, love the Dipper - spot on , I like the stone and the water, I may have been tempted to apply a little Clarity in the water. I was going to comment on the light and background but you have explained it above. Nicely done:c3:

I like this better than the previous image. I'd be inclined to lighten the background behind the bird some to create a little more separation.
