Hi folks ... something different into the mix ...
Image captured in France last spring
It was very foggy and dark heavy clouds were hanging quite low , so I kept everything dark and dull on the color front

Canon EOS R3
RF 100 - 500 IS L at 500 mm
HH

F 7,1 ; Iso 6400 ; 1/1600 sec

Processed with DT 4.6.1 and PSCC 2024 ; slight crop

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

Cheers Andreas

Super quality love the muted presentation and the hint of mistiness. Rather large in the frame but I like it like that, as usual DOF focus and detail excellent.
I am surprised how close you got, I thought they ran as soon as humans became close. Maybe good field craft eh?:c3:

Thanks for your comment Jon , much appreciated .
Yes I went very subdued with the colors , just pushed the tones to create more depth ... trying to retain the original flatness caused by the mist .
At that location the Chamois are kind of used to hikers .... so if you lucky you can get close , other times they run if you try to approach them . This one was resting just a few meters from the walking trail .

Cheers Andreas
