I made this at Nickerson a few days ago around 9 AM. High clouds helped with the exposure.

1D4, 500f4, 1.4x, 1/1250s, f/7.1, ISO 400, manual exposure

Nice detail in the shot Axel, especially getting that slight catchlight in the eye. The blowing grass and BG are spot on and really makes it.

Just wonder if that white line from the body should be removed, is it part of the tail feathers?

Awesome shot. The wing pose, light and the colors are fantastic. But the best is the BG with the grass. This looks almost like a painting.
