I do wish spring comes fast. I should post here more often.

I love wildflowers specially there untapped amazing colors..

This was taken last year during spring. Hope to photograph wildflowers more in the coming spring.

Nikon D500, 70-200 f/4
ISO 640, f/8, 1/320 sec
Manual Mode, Matrix Metering, 0 EV

Subject was shaded using my own shadow.

Hope you like the image.

Let me know your thoughts and comments.

Thanks
Krishna

Very nice soft light, good sharpness on your subject where you need it most, good detail in the bright yellows, and a clean background. For my taste, I would wish that the buds/stems weren't clipped by the right side frame. Placing the flower on the left side of the frame (as John suggests) would allow more room for the more interesting (IMO) buds/stems to be included on the right. :S3:

Nicely processed but composition is a little awry for me. I too would suggest moving the flower over to the left and if possible having clear space to the right. I would also consider removing the near vertical stems on the left hand side.
