Probably the easiest tutorial on record !!!!

From viewing the image in the "Library Module" type the letter "R" It will take you to the "Develop Module" and at the same time will show the crop screen.

You look at the bottom and find the little icon for the ruler and click. Then look for a line that should be straight which can be horizontal or vertical. Click on any part of the line drag along the line and let go.

That is it. It will straighten on its one No further work :)

Nice tip Alfred. I didn't realize that you could do that in lightroom.

BTW, I find that LR seems to run slower and I get more out of memory errors with the Nikon D3 files than with the canon. Have you experienced that?

I have a new machine with 4 gb ram with a quad core processor so thats not the issue.

Strange Art No idea? When I was using Aperture I did run into those problems All seem to be slow !!!!

Easy way to check horizon

Hi folks:

When level is slightly off I check my horizons using Free Ruler from http://www.spadixbd.com/freetools/jruler.htm
You can check horizontal or vertical & lengthen or shorten ruler to extend across full page
